Getting sober is one step. Being able to support yourself, show up for work, and feel proud of your paycheck is another huge part of rebuilding your life. Our employment support is designed to meet you right where you are - whether you're starting over, changing careers, or returning to work after a break.
We begin by talking through your goals, your experience, and any barriers you're worried about - gaps in your work history, legal issues, transportation, or childcare. From there, we help you search for realistic job options that match your skills and current season of recovery, not just any opening you can grab.
Resume and interview coaching is a big piece of what we do. Together, we build or update your resume in a way that feels honest and strong, without centering your past in addiction. We'll walk you through common interview questions, practice how to talk about your history without shame, and help you find language that shows responsibility and growth.
We also talk about the basics that make a difference on the job: showing up on time, communicating with supervisors, handling conflict, and protecting your recovery while you work. If you're nervous about balancing meetings, curfew, and a new schedule, we'll look at it together and create a plan.
The point of our employment support isn't just to help you get a job; it's to help you build a life that feels stable and hopeful. Little by little, as you cash those paychecks and keep your commitments, you'll see what we already believe - that you are fully capable of standing on your own two feet.
